Our Made in USA quartz movement kits come complete with all the hardware shown and include our personal step by step assembly instructions. They can be used to repair your aging treasured clocks or start a whole new project. These movements are are not dusty leftovers from excess stock, they are all brand new from my supplier. Outside demensions are 2 1/8 X 2 1/8 square and 1/2 thick. If mounted inside your project, a minimum of 3 inches diameter recess is reccomended and they have a built in hanger that will support a clock of up to 4 pounds. The threaded area of the shaft is 1/2 inch long and 11/32 inch in diameter. YOUR CLOCK FACE SHOULD NOT BE OVER 3/8 INCH THICK. The stabilized quartz crystal assures high accuracy within 1-2 minutes per year and requires 1 - AA battery (not included) for 12+ months of operation. The hour and minute hands have a polished brass tone finish and the highly visible red second hand and the minute hand are both 2” long from the shaft to the tip. The hour hand is 1 5/8 to the tip. The hands for my kits are not plastic, they are all stamped from metal !!
